Bullet proof.. I Wish I Was
Limb by limb and tooth by tooth
Tearing up inside of me
Every day every hour
I wish that I was bullet proof
Heat the pins and stab them in
You have turned me into this
Just wish that it was bullet proof
So pay the money and take a shot
Leadfill the hole in me
I could burst a million bubbles
All surrogate and bullet proof
And bullet proof
This was the first year I covered the San Marino Motor Classic: Design in Motion. In it’s 5th year, the event was held on June 14, 2015 at Lacy Park in San Marino, California. It is the successor of the Los Angeles Concours d’Elegance. Over 300 cars were displayed on the lawns of the beautiful 30-acre park, all gathered for the public to enjoy.
I spent the morning walking around the park, admiring and capturing the featured 34 classes of cars, which included examples from Ferrari, Porsche, Maserati, Mercedes-Benz, Packard, Cadillac, Jaguar, Bugatti, Hispano-Suiza and Rolls-Royce.
I found automotive icons and collectors like Bruce Meyer, Aaron Weiss, KABC 7’s Automotive Specialist Dave Kunz, Ed Justice, Jr., Peter Mullin & Bruce Meguiar – walking the park and talking candidly with visitors & fans who approached them.
My wife, Maria and my Grandson, Vincent, came along with me to enjoy the day at the park and to admire all the great cars on display. Vincent even got to meet Barry Meguiar and a ride in a real fire truck!
My report and images were published online this morning at Sports Car Digest. You can read and see all my images HERE.
If you would like a print for your wall at home, office or race shop, I offer quality prints of the images you see here and others that were captured during this event. You can purchase them here: Photo Store
