This image was captured at this morning’s Cars & Coffee event in Irvine. It is of the ultra rare, Toyota 2000 GT. Toyota constructed just 351 of these beautiful GTs for worldwide sale. Just 84 of those were left-hand-drive, with only 62 making it to the States. This is one of perhaps 40 American-delivery 2000 GTs that still exist in the US today.
As of today, there is an excellent 1967 Toyota 2000 GT up for sale on Ebay Motors. Buy it Now is set at $ 650,000. US.
Below is a gallery of additional sports & GT cars I captured on this cool and overcast Southern California morning.
Enjoy!

Cars & Coffee.
Jan 29th
It’s been several months since I woke up at 5:30am on a Saturday morning to check out the collection of cars that gather in Irvine for the weekly ritual known as Cars & Coffee.
This morning’s drive to the OC (Orange County) did not disappoint. Among the array of cars that came out on this sunny, Saturday morning was the new Ferrari GTO and a 1886 Benz Patent Motor-Wagen.
The red sports car pictured above for todays’ f/365, is that of the Ferrari 512 BB (Berlinetta Boxer). The Boxer name is given to the car because of the mid-mounted, 12 cylinder engine, that is in an almost flat configuration (180° V-engine).
It was captured with my Canon 40D – 1/60 sec @ f/16, ISO 100, using the available outdoor light.
Below is a gallery of images I’ve selected of the great cars that were part of this morning’s Cars & Coffee.
